Testing, Testing

Those of you who pay attention to such things may have noticed that the URL of this blog as now changed.

Long story short, I'm designing my own website, and I think I just successfully got it to transfer over to it, we'll see. I'll be fiddling with things as I go along, as it's not finished yet. Should this disappear or anything, you'll know why.

State of Play

This post is mainly just so a good friend of mine doesn't have to keep looking at Quake Wars every day. Just shows you how committed some people are to my awesomeness really...

Kidding. But in all serious, he reminded me that, once again, i have neglected my blog. Which is a bit silly of me because I keep going on about how i have one.

Anyway, i have loads to update you all about, and i've got plenty more work to put up, although ill probably stagger it. Won't do a proper post today as I'm helping to cover E3 at the moment... if you don't know what that is, i'll reveal all soon enough.

Live for the weekend

Just before we begin - No your eyes are not deceiving you, i have changed my colour scheme. Reason? Well if you look at my previous post, you will see it all. Call me suspicious, but i want to limit my association with psychopaths as much as possible. (And no, i am NOT a psychopath, merely eccentric) Saying that, all i did was change the colours, but kept the format. Cheap i know, but what i really want to do is do my own custom thing. Unfortunately, i can't get my head around all this HTML nonsense. Don't suppose anyone can help me with that?

Anyway, its Friday! Yay. I'd say I've got plans, but that would be a lie. I have no plans, never do. Really, the weekend for me is a chance to do what i do normally (mainly nothing) but in a legitimate capacity. You feel less guilty.

Hmmm.....Well, this went well. I can't actually think of a discussion for today. If i think of something ill let you guys know, for now - Have a good one.

Whats in a name?

You know one impression I've received about my blog, (Other then that it rocks everyone's socks, obviously) is that people are not quite sure what my name means. I had an American once ask me what does "Geeser" mean in the context I'm using. Maybe i should of thought harder about the name.

Well, to be honest, it was an off-the-cusp wordplay that i thought up in the 30 seconds i had to think of a blog name, before my lecturer had me shot for being too slow. Ever seen the film Memoirs of a Geisha? Nah, me neither, but i thought to myself: "Blog" "Like a journal" "My 'memoirs'" "Memoirs of a bloke" "Bloke = Geeser" "Geeser sounds like Geisha, from that film I've never seen" "Well that's clever, I'm using that" And viola, you have Memoirs of a Geeser, which i thought i was in a general sense. Although apparently I'm "too young" to be a Geeser.

Maybe I'm just too clever for my own good. Yes, that must be it. It's obviously not that i come up with naff word plays, or ill conceived ideas. I'm just too clever. Yes. Too clever.

In other news; I'm going to a meeting today with the Editor of The Wires' online version. He wants me to do some blogging on it, so watch this space. (All very exciting). Oh, the picture? yeah i couldn't be bothered to find a themed one today, so i thought I'd put that up to underline the following point; yes, i am a driver. Fear me.
